Tranh 'Thuoc Lao'
‘Thuoc Lao’ is the traditional smoking pipe used to smoke locally made, extraordinarily strong short bursts of tobacco. You can see them all over the country, but they are most common in Hanoi and northern Vietnam. Usually propped up against a plastic bucket they are a common feature amongst local ‘ca phe’ spots. If you are adventurous enough to try, then beware! They are too strong for most and can cause extreme dizziness.
