Tranh 'Cơm Tấm Bình Dân'
Nestled down a small temple alley at number 241 on Ben Van Don street, District 4; you can find this iconic Com Tam breakfast stall in early morning. 'Cơm' meaning rice and 'Cơm tấm' meaning 'broken rice' relates to the rice grains that have been fractured in the milling process. Previously popular for its low-cost breakfast, it has now become a special feature of Vietnamese cuisine and can be found all over the country.
