Tranh 'Sai Gon River'
The view of Saigon River whilst standing on the Calmette bridge. To the left, you can see Saigon Ward (District 1) and to the right Xom Chieu Ward (District 4). The reflections of the iconic buildings can be seen in the splinters of the wood grain representing the river. The original woodcut of this design was and experimental, 4 layer woodcut reduction print with bright contrasting colors that give the effect of glistening water in the river.
